2. Trips/Birthday

New Job

After a fun year at my current place of employment I've decided to seek a new challenge and see what the rest of the UK has to offer and what I can offer it, I'll be starting the new role as a Coldfusion/Java dev in June.
I'll be moving a little south a little closer to London. Town seems a nice area and the people I interviewed with seemed pretty genuine, I'll miss my current town and current work mates, but will be sure to keep in touch with everyone!

Trips/Birthday

I turn 25 (old but I feel like I'm 5) this year (September) and was originally planning on going home for my B'day but then decided to stay here that month for Oktoberfest instead. I only just checked the date my old man arrives and turns out he arrives on my B'day :), he has his trip booked and my little sister has her trip booked for the following month, it will be soooo good to catch up with some DNA.
My self and my number one travel mate are off to Irelands biggest city (Dublin cos it's always dublin) June 8th for the weekend. So if any of my Irish Feens (Cork Slang) read this be sure to give us a buzz on that weekend.

(January 12th 2006)
Salutations.
1. Seal Rocks (I saved a Dolphin)
2. Adelaide/Melbourne.
3. Europe 2006.

Seal Rocks

I went to Seal Rocks just before Christmas and got really drunk and was walking along the beach late at night and found a very big dolphin had beached its self.
I then found some equally drunk Israeli tourists who were road tripping up and down NSW, we all charged down to the beach in the dark and after half hour of pushing the dolphin back out continually it eventually got sick of us pushing it back out, so it then swam off out to sea.
Then we sat back drinking to early hours of the morning then I went spearing the next day.

Adelaide/Melbourne

Well I had never been to the southern states before and had always said I would one day go, so last year New Years Eve was approaching and I weren't sure of what to do, so I jumped on a plane to Adelaide, visited a mate there and hit the town 3 nights straight.
After 3 nights in Adelaide I thought "well why fly home, I aint seen Perth or Melbourne or Hobart". I realised no one I knew in Hobart was home, so I never flew there and I don't know many people in Perth. So I jumped on a plane and went to Melbourne and hit the town for the night and got really wasted. Next morning came and I walked around the city, I found Melbourne to be laid out a lot better then Sydney, well the Central Business District anyway.
After finding Melbourne's China town for lunch (I'm a big fan of Asian food) I felt a little hung over and thought "Well gotta go back home eventually" so jumped on a bus to the airport and flew to Sydney, then jumped on a train home.
To Sum up, Adelaide is a lot better then people make out, woman there were probably the best looking out of all the Australian city's I've been to so far, in fact Adelaide is more like a large country town then a city. Melbourne I can't comment on to much as I was only there one night and half a day so most of what I seen was night, but it still seemed pretty cool.

Europe 2006

I'm going to Europe in June/July with some mates from School, we plan to see Australia win the World Cup as well as Visit, England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland etc.
